As we continue to develop our website and incorporate new technologies to improve communication, this Privacy Policy will evolve and, therefore, we may update our Privacy Policy from time to time, so you should review it periodically. By using this website, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

Natures Finest Security, LLC (“NFS”) is committed to protecting the personal information it receives from and about consumers. Accordingly, NFS has developed this Privacy Policy in order for interested parties to understand how NFS collects, uses, discloses, and protects consumers’ personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information about consumers provided by NFS clients as well as by individuals who have provided NFS clients with written authorization to disclose their personal information (e.g., NFS clients’ employees and job applicants).

NFS reserves the right to make changes to its Privacy Policy at any time. Changes to the Privacy Policy are effective upon posting. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Consumer Reporting. NFS is a consumer reporting agency, as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. NFS obtains information on an individual consumer only upon the request of a user (e.g., NFS client) who has a permissible purpose under the FCRA to request such information. The FCRA requires the user certify to NFS that it has obtained the consumer’s written consent to request information before NFS can supply the requested information. The user must submit to reasonable audits by NFS to confirm that it is, in fact, obtaining such consents.

Purpose of Collection of Personal Information. Before or at the time it collects personal information, NFS will specify the purposes for which the personal information is being collected. NFS will collect personal information by lawful means and use personal information solely for the specified purpose(s).

Protection and Retention of Personal Information. While NFS does not guarantee the security of any personal information, NFS utilizes reasonable security safeguards to protect personal information from access by unauthorized users. NFS only retains personal information for the amount of time necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the information was collected unless NFS is required by law to keep the information for a longer period. NFS will make readily available to clients information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

Any backup data is maintained in an encrypted form.

NFS maintains records on each request for information and identifies each user who requested information on a consumer.

Employees are prohibited from “browsing” files or databases without a business justification.

NFS follows the Federal Trade Commission’s requirement that consumer information be unreadable upon disposal.

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties. NFS does not share, sell or distribute consumer information to any third party without the consumer’s permission other than in the following situations:

NFS may share consumer’s personal information with a third party as necessary in connection with any of the purposes for which the personal information was collected.

NFS may retain a third party vendor to assist in background screenings. NFS will only transfer to these vendors the information necessary to perform the requested service, and prohibits the third party vendors from using the information for any other purpose. NFS only uses vendors who maintain a responsible attitude towards consumer privacy, mirroring NFS own practices. However, NFS does not have direct control over the policies or practices of these third parties, NFS is not responsible for the practices of or the accuracy of the information received from third parties.

NFS may be required, upon receipt of a court order, to disclose or release consumer information in civil litigation or as otherwise required by law.

NFS may disclose personal information in connection with an investigation or other efforts to prevent illegal activity or preserve public safety.

Access to Personal Information. Any consumer, upon proper identification, has the right under the FCRA to request that NFS furnish to the consumer any and all information it may have on that consumer. The consumer has the right to dispute the accuracy or completeness of any information contained in the consumer’s file. NFS will make a good faith effort to provide the consumer with access to the information.

Any consumer who wishes to access his or her information, correct or update his or her information, or opt out from NFS personal use of the information, consumers should contact info@naturesfinestsecurityllc.com
